Assignment 3

Research Question and Experimental Design

Construct a reseach question that is very different in subject matter and complexity from the research question you developed for Assignment 1. For this new research question, please do the following:

1. Specify your units of analysis and at least seven (7) key variables that would have to be examined to be able to answer your question.
2. Explain why each one of these variables is relevant to your research question.
3. Operationalize the variables (how would you define and measure the attributes of each of the variables)?
4. What experimental design would you use to examine your research question, and why is it appropriate?

Please limit your work to no more than three typewritten pages. Send your assignement in HTML format via email to speuquet@udel.edu by 9:00 on the due date.   Also, bring your completed assignment to class in printed form on that same due date for submission to the instructors.
